BEFORE & AFTER
A big remodel was not in the budget but with interior decorating help - paint and organizing this tiny farmhouse kitchen was fun and functional.
GUEST ROOM CLOSET TO OFFICE MAKEOVER
This client wanted a space to keep the family laptop and other paperwork so it would no longer collect on the kitchen island. Using the guest room closet was the perfect solution for making use of underutilized space.
UPDATING WITH PAINT AND FURNITURE
For this project, an outdated 1970's colonial was transformed through painting all of the dark trim, doors, and bookshelves along with placement of updated furniture (a mix of old and new) to create a more modern, fresh space.
PLAYROOM DECLUTTER AND REDESIGN
The homeowner's daughter and "owner"of the space was critical in completing this project. With guidance, she was willing to sort through, donate and discard items she no longer used and consolidated all of her toys to this one room, alleviating clutter in her bedroom and other parts of the house. An old dresser was transformed at minimal cost to provide toy and media storage.
Working with a local realtor, this kitchen was given a facelift for showing with new cabinet paint, hardware along with a good scrubbing and a few decor items so that buyers could see the potential rather than extra items on the to-do list.
This one was personal and I wish that I could say the before photos were edited for dramatic effect! My teenage daughter needed a better system for keeping control of her clothes and items in her attic turned closet. After sorting and tossing, with her help, the remaining items were returned with added hooks, shoe storage and more drawer space. Frequent sorting/purging going forward is still likely!
